Spicy Chicken & French Lentil Bowl

Ingredients
- Lentils
- ½ cup dried French (Puy) lentils
- 1½ cups water
- Pinch sea salt (added after cooking)
- For Each Bowl
- 3 oz grilled chicken breast, sliced thin
- ¾ cup cooked French lentils
- ½ cup shelled edamame
- 1 cup fresh vegetables (cucumber, shredded carrot, arugula or mixed greens)
- ¼ avocado, sliced
- 1 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil
- Juice of ½ lime
- 1-2 drops Spice Drops
- Sea salt & cracked pepper
- Optional Chef Upgrade:
- Lemon zest
- Fresh parsley or cilantro

Cook the Lentils
Rinse lentils thoroughly. Add to saucepan with 1½ cups water. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a gentle simmer. Cook uncovered 18-22 minutes until tender but still slightly firm. Drain excess liquid if needed. Season lightly with sea salt after cooking. You should have about 1½ cups cooked lentils .

Build the Bowl
Start with ¾ cup warm lentils as the base.

Add edamame and fresh vegetables for volume and texture.

Slice the 3 oz chicken thinly and fan across the top visually generous, portion smart.

Drizzle olive oil and fresh lime juice.

Add 1-2 drops Spice Drops , start small. It’s concentrated.

Season lightly and toss gently before eating so the heat distributes evenly.
