Why Protein and Fiber Belong Together

Appetite control starts on the plate.

Protein helps a meal register as substantial. Fiber slows the experience down and adds volume without asking one food to do everything.

That is why a protein-heavy plate with almost no plants, or a giant salad with almost no protein, can both fail. You need both jobs covered.

At the store, that might look like eggs plus beans, yogurt plus berries, chicken plus a big cooked vegetable, or lentils tucked into a pasta dish you already love.
