Crispy Air Fryer Tilapia with Balsamic Brussels Sprouts
Seasoned air fryer tilapia with crispy balsamic Brussels sprouts. A weeknight plate that comes together in one basket, with lemon, parsley, and a little crunch on the side.

Ingredients
- Air Fryer Tilapia
- 12 ounces tilapia fillets
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Kosher salt or sea salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Lemon wedges, for serving
- Oil spray, as needed
- For the Brussels sprouts
- 12 ounces Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
Directions
- 1
Prepare the Brussels sprouts
Place the halved Brussels sprouts in a microwave-safe bowl and cover with water. Microwave for 4 minutes to partially cook them. Drain, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
- 2
Season the Brussels sprouts
Return the Brussels sprouts to a dry bowl. Add the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and salt, then toss until evenly coated.
- 3
Air fry the Brussels sprouts
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Add the Brussels sprouts to the air fryer basket in an even layer. Air fry for 15 to 18 minutes, tossing halfway through, until browned and crisp around the edges. Cooking time will vary depending on your preferred level of crispness. Remove and keep warm while you prepare the tilapia.
- 4
Prepare the tilapia
Preheat or reduce the air fryer temperature to 360°F. Rinse the tilapia and pat completely dry with paper towels. In a medium, shallow bowl, combine the garlic powder, lemon pepper seasoning, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the tilapia and gently coat both sides with the seasoning mixture.
- 5
Air fry the tilapia
Place a silicone air fryer liner or perforated parchment liner in the air fryer basket and lightly spray with oil. If you are not using a liner, lightly spray the basket to help prevent sticking. Place the tilapia on the liner and add a few lemon wedges alongside the fish. Air fry at 360°F for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time will depend on the thickness of the fillets.
- 6
Finish and serve
Sprinkle the tilapia with chopped fresh parsley and additional black pepper, if desired. Serve immediately with the crispy balsamic Brussels sprouts and fresh lemon wedges.
